Without a doubt, best Italian restaurant on the island. Hosts very friendly and available, service is impeccable, and every dish bursts with authentic flavor. From fresh pasta to pizza napoletana to seafood, everything is made with passion and precision. A must-visit if you're in Zanzibar and craving a real taste of Italy.

We’ve eaten at the Geo Italian Restaurant on the beach a couple of times now. The food is really good and very generous portions. The staff are great and don’t mind when we share a beer and the meal. The first time we had the Margherita Pizza, 2nd visit was catch of the day with chips and salad. We’ll be back again - probably the spaghetti bolognaise.

We stayed at Geo for 10 days, we had a great time! The service was prompt and very good. Our room had a nice view over the sea and sunrise. The room and surrounding areas were very clean and nice keept. A recommendation is to put a little extra storage in room, doing is possible to unpack all clothes. The restaurant was nice, we ate breakfast every morning and ice cream almost every evening. Menue was good! Another recommodation is to make the own bread for breakfast, that would give the extra special touch. Nice and extra plus to have a pool to swim in during low tide. We recommend a stay at the resort.

We recently stayed for seven nights (myself and my two daughters - one adult and one child). Location is amazing - right on the beach with picture book views from the room and the balcony. The swimming pool was a welcome addition and the restaurant always delivered great Italian food. Breakfast was plentiful. On a few nights, we took a short walk along the beach to try out some of the other restaurants but nothing compared. The staff just couldn’t do enough and were very friendly. The resort is small (just 15 rooms) and is located at the quieter end of Jambiani so not too busy. Airport transfers worked perfectly (you have to request them in advance) and the hotel arranged some unforgettable custom day trips for us. The room was basic and quite small but more than adequate for what we needed. We were treated a few times to the colobus monkeys in the trees right next to our balcony and you can hear the gentle crashing of waves in the room. If I had to be picky - a fridge, kettle and safe in the room would have been useful. Otherwise no complaints and this is right up there as one of our favourite holidays ever.

This is a great mid range hotel well worth the price without breaking the bank. Enzo and his family aim to make your stay a relaxing one. The rooms were cleaned every day. We had a problem with the toilet and they got to it pretty quickly. The breakfast was made fresh for you. The pool was cleaned regularly. We would go back there again in a heartbeat.

Nous avons séjourné deux nuits dans cet hôtel. L’hôtel est propre et le lit très accueillant ( fleurs d’hibiscus et les serviettes en forme de cygnes )ainsi qu’une bouteille d’eau fraîche. Le personnel est très sympa. Nous avons dormi dans une chambre de plain-pied qui donnait vue sur la mer. Il y a plus moche comme vu de bon matin! La nourriture est simple et bonne. Une carte globalement italienne. Vous y trouverez des pâtes, des pizzas… le petit déjeuner est correct également. Des serviettes de plage sont mises à disposition, ça c’est le top, car ce n’est pas le cas dans tous les hôtels. Il y a la climatisation et le Ventilo. Vous pouvez également brancher vos appareils car les prises sont universelles. Cependant, quelques bémols : durant les 2 nuits, il y avait fort bruit de fond ( comme des machines à laver en marche, ou un gros bloc de clim qui vibrait sur la façade. C’était un peu compliqué d’y faire abstraction.) . L’eau de la piscine était un peu trouble et verte. Literie très dure
